2021 SCJFL 4th Quarter Speech Only Tournament

3 students from our intermediate class competed at the 2021 SCJFL 4th Quarter Speech Tournament. This was the first time these students have ever competed at a tournament and they went in the open division with competitors who had years of experience. Additionally, this was a tournament in Southern California, one of the most competitive speech regions in the country.

In Impromptu Speaking, of our 3 competitors, 1 made it to the final round. Our other two students also ranked very highly in the preliminary rounds. Congratulations to Ethan Shen for placing 9th in a tournament with nearly a hundred competitors.
