2021 SCJFL 2nd Quarter Speech Only Tournament

5 students from our advanced class competed at the 2021 SCJFL 2nd Quarter Speech Tournament. This was a tournament in Southern California, one of the more competitive speech regions in the country. At this tournament, our students competed in the open division for all competitors rather than the novice division.

In Impromptu Speaking, of our 5 competitors, 4 made it to the final round. Congratulations to Henry H. (7th) for placing 10th, Aleena X. (8th) who placed 8th, Evan W. (7th) who placed 3rd and Wayne L. (7th) who placed 2nd. This was. a huge accomplishment.

In Original Oratory, we had one finalist. Congratulations to Evan who placed 5th in the tournament.
