34th Annual Stanford National Invitational

Three of our Intermediate students spent February 8 - 9 competing at 34th Annual Stanford National Invitational, a high school speech and debate tournament that attracts students from all across the nation and many from around the globe.

We are proud to announce that Francis Ruan (Grade 7) advanced to the Quarterfinal round in Novice Impromptu Speech and that Evan Wang (Grade 6) advanced to the Quarterfinal round in Novice Original Oratory.

It was truly amazing to see how our young middle school students were able to be so competitive in a prestigious national high school level tournament, especially given that it was the first tournament that all of our students had ever attended. We expect that these initial successes are only the beginning for our bright and talented young middle schoolers!
